This Privacy Policy explains how the Dayditto Chrome Extension ("extension", "we", "our") handles information when you use the extension.

The extension may process the following data:

Account/Auth data: your Dayditto token and basic profile details used to keep you signed in.
Task data you submit: task title, category, priority, and due date that you enter in the extension.
Settings data: extension preferences such as API base URL, web base URL, and floating button toggle.

2) How we use this information

To authenticate you and connect the extension to your Dayditto account.
To create, update, and display your tasks and focus workflow.
To sync task updates with Dayditto backend services.

3) Chrome permissions and why they are used

storage: stores token, profile, and extension settings locally in your browser.
notifications: shows local extension notifications (for example, focus timer completion).
activeTab: used when opening extension interactions from the current tab context.
webNavigation: detects supported login redirect completion to capture extension login token.
host permissions: communicates only with configured Dayditto domains/local API endpoints to sync your data.

4) Data sharing

We do not sell your personal data. Data is sent to Dayditto backend services only as needed to provide core extension features (authentication and task sync).

5) Data retention

Local extension data remains in Chrome storage until you sign out, clear extension storage, or uninstall the extension. Data synced to Dayditto servers follows Dayditto product retention rules.

6) Security

We use reasonable safeguards to protect data in transit and at rest. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.

7) Your choices

You can uninstall the extension at any time.
You can sign out to remove local auth state.
You can request account/data updates or deletion through Dayditto support.
